Engineered Mesh Upper
The More v5 is constructed using New Balance’s best-fitting upper to date, with a snug, soft structure and utilising an engineered mesh upper, the shoes provide feet with optimum comfort and a distraction-free experience. Strategically placed perforations feature throughout the upper to supply your feet with a constant supply of airflow that travels around your feet, and works to keep you cool during the more intense periods of your running endeavours. Additionally, the shoes are quick-drying, preventing an uncomfortable build-up of sweat and moisture to help you remain dry and fresh when things heat up. The seamless design discourages irritation or chafing against your feet, helping to keep you running and focused on the task ahead. The uppers of More v5 have an especially supportive fit to ensure that your feet remain stable and secure during excessive movement, while still supplying you with that plush, cosy fit. Completing the uppers is a traditional lace-up system, which keeps your foot locked in and secure, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring, as well as a soft, plush tongue and collar to keep your foot secure.
Fresh Foam X Midsole
Improved on their predecessors to provide even more plush, cushioned comfort, the Fresh Foam X More v5 is a super, soft running companion, that still ensures a stable, reliable ride. Made from approximately 3% bio-based content, the midsole is New Balance’s most cushioned Fresh Foam experience, to ensure outstanding comfort. This is even lighter in weight, with more energy return, and a soft sensation underfoot. Fresh Foam X works to attenuate shocks, by absorbing the impact form striking down on to hard, unforgiving surfaces, therefore helping to protect your joints. This bouncy midsole allows you to strike down on all areas of your foot, supplying you with plush underfoot cushioning from heel to forefoot. The compound encourages smooth heel-to-toe transitions, for a more natural running stride, and thanks to the updated rocker geometry, this is enhanced even further.
Durable Rubber Outsole
An upgrade from the More v4, version 5 boasts a wider geometry underfoot, with an increased width, heel, and forefoot, to deliver unparalleled stability. Working with this, the durable rubber outsole ensures outstanding grip and traction, allowing you to remain focused on the road ahead. The durable rubber covers the base of the foot from north to south to enhance smoother transitions. These strategically placed grooves that adorn the outsole, increase traction and keep you in control.
