Engineered Woven Upper

Inspired by On’s race-day shoes and modelled across one of the top designs, the Cloudsurfer Next utilises an ultra-lightweight engineered woven upper. The highly breathable woven mesh hugs your foot to provide outstanding comfort during training sessions and reduces overheating when things get intense. Allowing a constant supply of air to travel through the shoes, the fabrics have strategic perforations. The materials have a flexible construction to allow free movement whilst providing feet with a secure ride. Synthetic overlays protect the shoes from damage and reduce the risks of discomfort, by adding durability in areas that are most needed. With a race-day-inspired silhouette, the shoes have an easy step-in structure to accommodate a range of foot shapes. A soft, cushioned collar and comfortable tongue sit comfortably against your skin, helping to keep you secure, and working alongside the lace-up system to reduce in-shoe slipping.

Advanced Midsole and Outsole

Utilising On’s unique midsole technology, the Cloudsurfer Next has a CloudTec Phase cushioning system to enhance smooth heel-toe transitions and outstanding comfort during strides. With a distinctive style, the cushioning seamlessly collapses in sequence like dominos when your feet hit the ground, to offer you a smooth rolling transition from heel to toe and supreme, enhanced cushioning. Working with this, the midsole features a bouncy Helion superfoam, which works to boost you forward with a kick, offering pillowy landings and soft, effortless push-offs. This combination of materials works to absorb shocks to help reduce injuries or discomfort when pounding the pavement. The Cloudsurfer Next features an updated forefoot rocker to push power to the front, enhancing a more natural stride, and providing you with a more effortless gait cycle. Putting it simply, this combination of clever technologies makes running faster feel even easier. Finally, rubber pads are supplied on the outsole of the Cloudsurfer Next, to provide excellent grip and traction on a variety of road surfaces, for excellent stability when you pick up the pace. The rubber pads are highly durable for enhanced longevity and reliability.
